The movie was really good. I mean, I became a huge fan of PJO series because of its first movie. And now that I have read it up to the House of Hades, I really fell inlove with the book version and I hated the movie. But then, I do love the cinematography of the two movies, but really I can’t appreciate its screenplay because it ruined almost the entire story of Rick Riordan. When I was watching the Sea of Monsters with my friends, I was like “What was that?! That wasn’t like it was supposed to be! Kronos eating Luke?! Princess Andromeda was just a yacht?!” And to top it all? “The Great Prophecy wasn’t told to Percy until the series reached the 5th book (the Last Olympian) and it was written in a parchment/paper hidden in the necklace of the Oracle of Delphi.” I do wish that the next movie for PJO would be way way better. Rumors says it that they would be ending it in Titan’s Curse. And what the hell was that?!! Trimming down 5 books into three movies?? Just like what happened with Narnia? (which by the way has an even worse movie adaptation than of PJO) I do hope the directors or the film makers, whoever they are, would be able to visualize PJO Series as we fans have viewed it. :)
